explorATEion Box: If You Give a Pig a Pancake

This explorATEion box is thoughtfully designed by an occupational therapist to engage anxious, picky eaters in a playful exploration of textures, smells, and tastes inspired by If You Give a Pig a Pancake by Laura Numeroff. This box steps you through making homemade play dough, play dough games, prepping and cooking of pancakes, followed by decorating and exploring the pancakes and variety of toppings you select for your child to try. This box includes your child in the food preparation and cooking process and requires full supervision. Allowing your child to participate in the cooking of the foods provides indirect exposure to novel foods with no pressure of eating.
